iGoogle Personal Homepage

iGoogle will allow you to personalize and organize your homepage with a few short steps. Adding multiple gadgets and tabs to your iGoogle homepage gives you the chance to view information at a glance and all you need is a google account.

I’m using iGoogle for more than half a year now and it really makes your online life easier and faster. I setup iGoogle to be my default homepage so every time I open my web browser it will automatically open iGoogle page.

VirtualBox - Free VMWare Alternative May 30, 2008

VirtualBox is a new, freeware virtualization software for Windows and Linux computers that supports Windows XP and Linux distros as the target OS. Support for Mac OS X and 64-bit operating systems is currently in the works.

There are two versions of the software, an open source version which can be used for free and a closed source version which provides additional features such as:

Virtual USB Controllers
Remote Desktop Protocol
USB over RDP
Shared folders

The closed source version is free but only for personal use, not for commercial/business purpose.

Just like Ubuntu OpenSolaris 2008.05 for x86 is available to use free of charge and we can send you a CD at no extra cost. The delivery time may vary depending on your location, so you should consider downloading the CD image if you have a fast Internet connection.

The OpenSolaris 2008.05 Live CD makes it simple to boot to a fully functional desktop environment, including Firefox and Thunderbird, without the need to install onto your system. After familiarizing yourself with the OpenSolaris environment, you can then choose to install it onto your disk.
