XP Antivirus 2008 is one of the latest counterfeit antispyware that devastates the wolrd wide web. XP Antivirus 2008 usually come up after you installed a video codec that come with Trojan, malware and virus. XP Antivirus 2008 normally generates fake and misleading system popup error messages so end-users will be tricked into purchase XP Antivirus 2008.
I’ve been infected by this virus twice already the latest was I was trying to watch a online movie tutorial and asked for a movie plug-in to be downloaded I checked the pop up first, I noticed that it look suspicious so I press the X (close) button but the installation suddenly start and there is no way I could stop it. My desktop wallpaper is changed and there was consecutive popups from XP Antivirus 2008 that my System is infected by virus, and some administrative menus where disabled. Most computers infected by these virus are using Internet Explorer which is absolutely the same with my case so I highly recommend that you use firefox for more secure and safe browsing (as what they say).
Thanks to SmitFraudFix removing XP Antivirus 2008 has never been that easy!
