Google Chrome Java Plugin

September 26th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in How-To Tips, Windows

As it stands now, Google Chrome is a pretty nice browser but the Java plug-in doesn’t currently work. It supposed to accept Java plugin. It currently requires Java 6, Update 10, which is a Beta release and may not be as stable as what you’re used to.

However, there’s an easy fix.

Java 6, update 10, which is currently in Beta. Please see this page in the Chrome Help Center.

If you want, you can also skip straight to the appropriate download on the Java site. Once installed, you should have access to all the Java games and utilities that your heart desires!

Take note: You need to uninstall previous Java installed before you install Java 6 Update 10 to make it work in Google Chrome.
