Sir, the read me file says “decrypt 3.71 using psardumper (square option)” , what does that mean? I tried doing the patch without doing that step, so I just replaced the old fatmsmod.prx file with the new one included in this rar file, copied the new /update folder from this rar file as well, but the patch failed, informing me that only encrypted or decrypted files should only be used. Sorry, i’m very new at these things.

    Hi gomezjun,

you need psardumper to get the fatmsmod.prx from 3.71 firmware but it is already included in the Downloaded file provided.

I dumped again another fatmsmod.prx file using my PSP and patched again some memory stick and I don’t have any problems.

    Download fatmsmod.prx

Redid everything, copied the “new” fatsmod.prx file you attached on your new post, copied the \FATSMOD371 folder to \PSP\GAME\ folder (error on the initial post by the way, I should have said \FATSMOD371 folder instead of \UPDATE folder) and then ran FATSMOD 371 from the the PSP XMB. Everything went out perfectly fine. It appears that the fatsmod.prx on the initial post was different from the one you attached on your reply. Thanks a lot Jeffrey! You are a lot of help to people new with these modification “things” :) And by the way, aside from noticing “faster” ms access, is there a way of checking that the “patch” went through well? Thanks!

Great gomezjun! I’m glad you made it work. When you run the patch there’s text displaying that the patch/install is successful, aside from that you can also check it on your PSP’s Flash1 which is alittle bit complicated.

Also if you are using 4GB memory stick check if it’s already in FAT format, it’s also one of the way to prevent game lags.

To check if you are on FAT format

    UPDATE:

The download file has been updated adding the new fatmsmod.prx
