PSP 4GB Memory Stick FAT Format
Formatting your 4GB Memory Stick to FAT filesystem will make it faster in your PSP compared with PSP’s default format type FAT32.
To check if you still have FAT32 format:
- Connect your PSP via USB (make sure your memory stick is inserted)
- Right click your PSP’s drive and click on properties
- If you’re already in FAT format and you still experience lags in game or in XMB, you might want to try FATMS Patch.
- If you still have FAT32 format make a copy of all the files and folders (including hidden folders/files) of your memory stick and back it up on your PC.
- on Windows Explorer (or any folder open) click on Tools > Folder Options
- Click on VIEW Tab
- and choose/check Show hidden files & folders (see screenshot)

- Show Hidden Files and Folder
- Click on Start > RUN then type CMD
- on the CMD window type format x: /q /fs:FAT
- x is the drive letter of your PSP
- there will a prompt asking you about cluster. Choose Y to continue
- Just follow the instructions on screen.
- Copy all the files and folders you backedup before and paste it in your newly formated PSP Memory stick
* I used Windows XP when formatting the memory stick because when I tried it in vista the format completes but it never shows games/homebrews from ISO and /PSP/GAME folders.

try mo reformat ulit, alam ko issue yan sa mga class A na memory sticks. Suggest ko format mo muna sa PSP, then format mo ulit using the method above, then put the games one by one…

After that, balik lahat ng mga files from backup.
Cheers!
